This pitch used to sit on all 54 consumer calculator pages. It belongs here, so those pages can get on with answering the question a reader came for.
Who it is for
WattDollar reaches people at the moment they are deciding whether an appliance, heat pump or EV charger is worth it, and what a more efficient model would actually save. That is a warm, high-intent audience arriving by appliance type, with no lead form in the way.
What is available today
- Affiliate and revenue-share links. One editable configuration points the "compare models" link at your store or product lineup. Every such link is disclosed to the reader at the point of the link, per our disclosure policy.
- Sponsored placement in category hubs, clearly labelled as such, and never inside a calculated result.
What is not available yet — and why we are saying so
An embeddable calculator has been discussed but is not a shipped product. Publishing an embed without the things below would put a widget on someone else's page with no versioning, no data contract and no privacy boundary, and we are not doing that. Before any embed ships it needs:
- a documented data contract — which fields, in which units, with which model;
- a stated source and freshness commitment for the rate table behind it;
- a versioning and deprecation policy, so a host page does not break silently;
- a privacy boundary: no access to host-page data, explicit origin validation on any message passing, and no advertising inside the frame by default;
- its own framing policy, separate from the main site — which stays un-embeddable;
- an accessibility statement and a support and incident contact.
If an embed is what you need, say so and we will scope it against that list rather than shipping something and working it out later.
What a partnership does not buy
Editorial input. Calculated figures, model choices and the advice on what genuinely reduces a bill are not for sale, and a commercial relationship never changes a number. See the editorial policy.
